Wow, how special…finally a new blog post in what…just about a month? You should feel special!
To start off this “special” post, I offer up a joke sent to me by my sister:
I will never hear church bells ringing again without smiling …
Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent’s house to visit her 95-year old grandmother and comfort her.
When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, “He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning.”
Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people that were nearly 100 years old, having sex would surely be asking for trouble.
“Oh, no, my dear,” replied granny. “Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even.
Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding, and out on the Dong.”
She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued, “He’d still be alive today if the ice cream truck hadn’t come along.”
I see the blogging world has changed somewhat out from under me in my absence. Friends aren’t where they were or in some cases just gone…somewhere else. I still can’t believe what happened to Phil (got fired from his job because of his blogging). Good luck finding a new job Phil!
Well I’m going to attempt to be back (to blogging). I’ve been in the world of “FaceBook” for a little while marvelling at its wonderfullness (from a developer perspective in what and how they’re doing stuff, cause we might want to use some of their ideas…doooh!).
Stay tuned for more…got lots of updates to come.
