As if we didn’t already have enough animals in our house besides me and my son (and the two birds, the two fish, the two cats and the two dogs), my son was given yet another, a Hamster. Admittedly he has always wanted one, so this year, “Santa” gave him one. The kitten has been very curious about it and quite often goes and “watches” it in its cage. Cloe (our female dog) has sort of adopted it. She goes and sits with it and if she’s there she puts the run on the kitten if she comes near. Just recently we were given one of those balls for the hamster to go into. Well she just loves it, yes the hamster is a she. Cloe just loves her in it. Cloe follows the hamster as it travels throughout the house in her little ball, yes we block off the stairway so she doesn’t fall down the stairs. The hamster seems to be able to navigate in this ball without any problems. I went to bed the other night and was in there reading. Bobbi (the hamster) was out in her ball. She navigated through the living room, through the kitchen and down through the hallway to our bedroom, towards the light (I assume) and came right into the bedroom where I was reading. She seems to want to goto where someone is. If we go into the bathroom and leave the door open, she will find her way in there to be with you. If I’m sitting watching TV, she travels back and forth between the kitchen and the living room. Its quite funny actually. My son named him “Bob”, but then we found out he was a she, so she is now “Bobbi”. I’ll try to get some pictures of it up for you all to see.
